Exterior cleaning in Warriewood

Warriewood Valley's 2000s to 2020s estates of rendered two-storey homes and townhouses on small blocks, large beachfront and headland homes on Narrabeen Park Parade, and older brick homes on the slopes. Most of what we clean here dates from 1960s slopes, 2000s to 2020s valley estates, on former wetland valley on alluvial soils, with sandstone headlands at Turimetta.

We work around Warriewood Beach and the Turimetta headland, Warriewood Wetlands, Warriewood Square and the Warriewood Valley release area, on streets such as Garden Street, Macpherson Street, Narrabeen Park Parade, Warriewood Road and Jacksons Road. The defining exterior problem is black mould on the shaded render of the valley estates, which were built close together with little airflow, and lichen on shared driveways and townhouse paving.

Homes around Narrabeen Lagoon, Dee Why Lagoon, Curl Curl Lagoon and Manly Lagoon sit in still, humid air with less salt than the ocean front but far more biological growth. Walls stay damp long after dawn, so algae and mould rather than salt are the enemy, and run-off control matters more than anywhere because the lagoons are the receiving water.

Run-off. Anything washed off a Warriewood property ends up in Narrabeen Lagoon via Narrabeen and Mullet Creeks unless it is stopped at the kerb.
